Sustainable Procurement Management Policy
Supply Chain Management

E Ink Holdings Inc. (E Ink), a global leader in ePaper-based electrophoretic technology, is committed to advancing sustainability through the development of cutting-edge technologies, providing revolutionary products, and enhancing user experiences while delivering greater sustainable benefits. E Ink is dedicated to implementing its unique "PESG" sustainability framework, which centers around green ePaper technology and products and integrates the key pillars of "Environment," "Social," and "Governance" to achieve sustainable development goals. Through sustainable procurement management, E Ink aims to build a " Sustainable and Value-Added Supply Chain" and promote " Green Production" to realize its sustainability vision.

E Ink pledges to leverage its influence in procurement, working together with the supply chain to build a sustainable business model. To this end, and in reference to the "ISO 20400 Sustainable Procurement Guidance," the following sustainable procurement policies and strategies have been established based on considerations of environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and economic feasibility:

• Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, standards, agreements, and policy requirements.

• Develop and encourage suppliers to follow E Ink’s Supplier Code of Conduct as a management standard.

• Assess the necessity of procurement, considering life cycle costs and more sustainable alternatives to ensure that each procurement is necessary and effective.

• Prioritize local procurement or select materials with high energy efficiency, low environmental footprint, recyclable properties, and low-carbon transportation to create a green, low-carbon supply chain.

• Collaborate with suppliers to continuously improve sustainable product development, while strengthening risk management resilience to deepen supply chain resilience.

• Evaluate suppliers, materials, and services to minimize negative environmental, social, and economic impacts, and avoid sourcing materials or services that negatively affect ecosystems and biodiversity. Collaborate with suppliers for ongoing improvements.

• Ensure that suppliers and materials meet the standards for restricted Substance Management Regulations, Chemical Management Procedures, Biodiversity and Non-Deforestation Commitment, and Conflict Minerals Policy and Requirements. Where possible, increase the use of materials certified by third parties and traceable to their sources, avoiding materials from areas of global or national biodiversity importance or conflict regions.

• Require the supply chain and partners to create a dignified work environment, maintain and respect the rights of all individuals, and ensure a safe working environment.
