E Ink received two Silver Awards at the 2026 Asia-Pacific Sustainability Action Awards (APSAA) and Taiwan Sustainability Action Awards (TSAA) for two of its sustainability initiatives.
“eRead for the Future” — Silver Award, Asia-Pacific Sustainability Action Awards
Since its launch in 2017, E Ink has joined hands with ePaper ecosystem partners to continuously bring reading resources to schools across Taiwan through eReaders and digital reading content.
To date, the initiative has reached nine cities and counties across Taiwan, with a cumulative donation of 6,125 eReaders and 652,000 eBooks, benefiting more than 90,000 students. This year marks the third consecutive year that “eRead for the Future” has been recognized by the Asia-Pacific Sustainability Action Awards.
Advancing Inclusive Information Access and Sustainable Accessibility in Museums – 2025 Taipei Fine Arts Museum ePaper Implementation Project — Silver Award, Taiwan Sustainability Action Awards
E Ink also collaborated with the Taipei Fine Arts Museum to introduce full-color ePaper display signage into the arts and cultural venue for information display and wayfinding.
By leveraging ePaper’s characteristics of consuming power only when the image is updated and allowing content to be updated repeatedly, the digital displays help reduce energy consumption while minimizing the use of single-use printed materials.
