E Ink continues to demonstrate its commitment to social responsibility through meaningful action, marking its 22nd consecutive year of supporting Ride for ALS, a charity cycling event dedicated to raising public awareness of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). With enthusiastic participation and generous support from employees, this year’s event raised NTD 131,000 (approximately USD 4,100) to support the care and well-being of people living with ALS, improve their quality of life, and bring greater hope to patients and their families. Over the past 22 years, E Ink’s continued participation in this initiative has helped raise more than NTD 1.73 million (approximately USD 54,000), reflecting the Company’s long-term commitment to supporting communities in need.
For Lynne Garone, Associate Vice President of Corporate Learning and Social Responsibility at E Ink, Ride for ALS carries a deeply personal meaning. She shared, “This charity is very personal to me. My cousin, a brilliant psychologist, lived with ALS for 22 years. Remarkably, she patented a text-to-speech technology that later became an essential tool she relied on to communicate. I have participated in this bike ride for nearly 25 years—almost as long as I have been with E Ink—and every year I am deeply moved by and grateful for the generosity of my colleagues who continue to support this cause.”
Through its long-standing support of Ride for ALS, E Ink transforms care and compassion into tangible action while encouraging employees to take part in meaningful social initiatives. Looking ahead, E Ink will continue to uphold its commitment to corporate social responsibility, respond to the needs of diverse communities, and work together with employees and social partners to provide greater support for patients and their families, contributing to a more inclusive, caring, and sustainable society.
